In an effort to boost low sales, Sony devised a most beautiful ad campaign featuring a twirling (and no doubt sweating!) ballerina!
Crowds gathered by the side of the road to watch as a prima ballerina in full costume danced alongside traffic on a busy freeway. The dancer was performing a sequence as she filmed an advert on 7th Avenue in Manhattan dressed in a full, lilac tulle tutu and structured bodice.
In the past week, temperatures in New York have soared to 110F but the dancer pirouetted and leapt repeatedly to get the right shot for the Sony ad. Check out the photos from the set along with the remainder of this article here.

World famous footwear designer, Christian Louboutin has snagged the spotlight once again, this time for creating a pair of shoes only a dancer could wear – and perhaps love. These one of a kind pointe shoe stilettos were recently commissioned for a silent auction benefitting the English National Ballet.
Encrusted with dozens of glittering Swarovski crystals and perched atop a staggering 8 inch heel, the shoes are the tallest stilettos ever made! Read more about this high-fashion traipse through the dance world here.
Check out this awesome video, courtesy of CBS news! They recently interviewed four young dancers competing in the Youth American Grand Prix finals in New York. And, at approximately 2:57 seconds into the segment, you’ll notice one of the dancers wearing our Vamp leotard!
This is truly an inspiring video segment, one that is sure to delight both competitive – and non competitive – dancers alike!

We knew it was only a matter of time….!
