Dancer extraordinaire, Ethan Stiefel and his equally amazing fiancee`, Gillian Murphy are heading to New Zealand in preparation for Stiefel’s new gig as Artistic Director of Royal New Zealand Ballet. Okay, ladies…get ready to swoon! During American Ballet Theatre’s gala this past Monday evening, Ethan Stiefel got down on bended knee and proposed to his long-time lady love, Gillian Murphy! {Psst… she said YES!}

Good, because this latest piece of dance news is exciting to say the least!  Check it out: “Two of the biggest names in the dance world are moving to Wellington in an unprecedented coup by the Royal New Zealand Ballet. American dancer Ethan Stiefel will become the company’s next artistic director, replacing Englishman Gary Harris, who finishes in December.
