As we’ve reported previously, the Pet Shop Boys have written the score behind Javier De Frutos’ contemporary ballet, “One Incredible Thing” which will premiere on March 17th at Sadler’s Wells. Pet Shop Boys to Score Full-Length Dance Production

pet-shop-boys556-260x260Following in the footsteps of others such as Paul McCartney and Kip Winger, Pet Shop Boys are adding their names to the growing list of recording artists lending their talents to the dance world. According to both the band’s website and the official announcement from Sandler’s Wells, Pet Shop Boys are scoring the upcoming production of “The Most Incredible Thing”, a tale by Hans Christian Andersen. 

Pet Shop Boys were introduced to Sadler’s Wells over four years ago by The Royal Ballet Principal, Ivan Putrov, who asked them to write a ballet score for him.
